GuWei Museum is delighted to announce the solo exhibition by artist Simon Yung (March 4th through May 4th 2025). The exhibition will showcase his latest ink works, highlighting the fusion of contemporary art and traditional techniques.
This exhibition marks the first collaboration between the GuWei Museum and a contemporary artist. GuWei Museum is committed to supporting contemporary artists and providing a platform where audiences can appreciate the interplay of ancient and contemporary culture and art.
Chee-Mun, Simon Yung grew up in Hong Kong, where he obtained a Master of Arts in Chinese Literature (HKMU, 2011) and a Diploma in Chinese Painting (HKU SPACE, 2006). He participated in several Hong Kong and overseas art exhibitions and earned a number of art accolades. His works are collected by the Hong Kong Museum of Art, private institutions and art collectors.
Artist Simon Yung will host two signature workshops on ink painting on the 8th and 15th March. Stay tuned on our social media for more updates.
