Job Description:
Under the supervision of Foundation management:
● Develop educational programs for children, families, and adults.
● Collaborate with organizations to align museum tour content with classroom learning,
thereby enhancing the educational experience for students.
● Review upcoming exhibition content and identify effective ways to utilize that
information to educate community members and foster their interest in art, history, and
related subjects.
● Create lesson plans and program details for classroom use to inspire students.
● Teach the educational program as needed.
● Maintain proper internal filing for the Museum Education Program.
● Provide admission documents and assist families in completing the admission process.
Update system records as necessary.
● Address any issues related to admissions and payments for the education program.
● Regularly inspect the premises to ensure appropriate maintenance, including the proper
display of student artwork and promotional materials

Qualification:
● Prior working experience in the education industry;
● Responsible, Detailed-minded and well organized;
● Self-motivated with a positive working attitude and ethic;
● Problem-solving approach;
● An ability to uphold rules and regulations;
● Proficiency in spoken and written in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
● Bachelor’s degree, or above.

Job Description:

  • Serves as the point-of-contact for museum visitors, including on-site, answering phone enquiries and on-line (email and social media etc.) enquiries.
  • Perform ticket issuing and check, including collection of payments and related administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate insertion and update of necessary information and promotional materials to the Museum boards, website, social media etc.
  • Assists with educational programs and activities. 
  • Assists in planning, organizing and implementing special events. 
  • Assists with changing exhibits and organizing materials. 
  • Responsible for implementation and compliance of all document relating to visitors’ attendance and administrative guidelines.
  • Responsible for stock and purchase.
  • Responsible for coordinating janitors.

Qualification:

  • High school / DSE graduated or above.
  • Diploma in Business Administration / Human Resources will be considered an advantage.
  • Problem-solving and teamwork approach.
  • An ability to uphold rules and regulations.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English.

Public Holidays:10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Last admission is 1 hour before the closing time

Close on Mondays (Except Public Holidays) and first to third day of Lunar New Year
